IMPLEMENTATION MODEL | The program is implemented by a CONSORTIUM of 9 partners led by Muni University, with support from Mastercard Foundation. Other patners includeGulu University, Bishop Stuart University, Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD), Palm Corps, Young African Refugees for Integral Development (YARID), Meeting Point Kitgum, Dan Church Aid, and Finn Church Aid. |
PROGRAMGOAL/TARGET | To support 100,000 young people aged 15-35 years (70% refugees, 60% female, 3% persons with disability) with market oriented skills and transition 70,000 (of same categories) to dignified andfulfilling work in the 15 refugee hosting districts of Uganda by 2027/8. |
PROGRAM SCOPE | 12 Refugee Hosting districts (Koboko, Madi Okollo, Yumbe, Obongi, Terego, Adjumani, Lamwo, Kiryandongo, Kikuube, Isingiro,Kamwenge,Kyegegwa) and 3 cities (Arua, Gulu, Mbarara) The program runs for four years, 2023/4 to 2027/8 |
